Cuddle Cot Fundraiser in Memory of Waylon
Join us for a fundraiser in honor and memory of Waylon Hussey who died just shortly after his birth.
Waylon’s family was unable to spend much time with him after he passed. Had they had access to a Cuddle Cot, a special medical bed that gives families a few extra days to mourn their lost infant, it would have been significant for their family.
A Cuddle Cot is an in-room cooling unit that is the size of a small humidifier that is disguised inside a bassinet or Moses basket. A Cuddle Cot gives families the gift of time, allowing for their precious angel(s) to be at their bedside during their hospital stay.
The Hussey family and friends are doing a fundraiser to purchase another Cuddle Cot or two for the hospital to help other families who lose their babies too soon take their time in saying goodbye.
