Edison and Ford Winter Estates open on Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day was established by Anna Jarvis of West Virginia in 1908. Several years later, the second Sunday in May was designated as the official Mother’s Day in the United States. Edison and Ford Winter Estates will be open for regular hours from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Mother’s Day and mothers visiting the site will receive a little gift (while supplies last). Sundays are always a good day for families to stroll the gardens and see what’s new in the museum.
Cost: Adults: $25; teen (ages 13-19): $20; Children (ages 6-12): $15; children (ages 5 and under): Free
