Garden Talk: Pruning Shrubs and Trees

There are a myriad of shrubs that grow well in Southwest Florida such as hibiscus and bougainvillea. Pruning techniques for shrubs differ from other plant species based on their growth patterns. During this talk, Edison Ford horticulturists will demonstrate how the different varieties of plants and trees on the Edison property are pruned. Bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes. Participants will receive a 20% off coupon for use towards plant purchases in the Garden Shoppe. Advanced registration is not required.
