Community Impact Center opens at Bell Tower Shops

United Way and Bell Tower announce the Grand Opening of the Bell Tower United Way Community Impact Center. The event will take place Monday, October 7, 2019 at 12 p.m. The new space is located at Bell Tower, Suite 145. There will be remarks from Jeannine Joy, the President of United Way and the Ribbon Cutting will take place at 12:15 p.m.

Following the ribbon cutting United Way will be kicking off the school supply distribution: Publix Tools for Schools at 1 p.m. This initiative is in partnership with Boys and Girls Club of Lee County.

This past July, Publix shoppers from around Lee County generously donated to Publix’ annual school supply drive. These donations will result in around 1,500 teachers from the Lee County School District being served. Throughout the years, Publix has locally collected millions of school supplies.

Teachers from Lee County Public Schools have pre-registered online and will come to pick up pencils, pens, notebooks, folders, paper, and other items necessary for students to succeed.

United Way’s Community Impact Center will host a variety of special initiatives following Tools for Schools. In addition to raising funds for human service organizations in our community, United Way promotes partnerships and collaborations among agencies and initiatives, helping them to work together focusing on issues and solutions that continue to improve lives.
