The Rainbow Pages is sponsoring a nonprofit summit to discuss LGBTQ issues from 9 am to noon on January 7, at the Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson St, Fort Myers, FL 33901. The summit is being held in conjunction with the LGBT Community Fund, a fund of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.
This summit is open to all nonprofits who support equality and serve all individuals in our community. You do not have to have specific LGBT programs. We will provide an introduction and education into what resources are currently available for the LGBTQ community, issues facing the community and identify issues you address at your nonprofit agencies.
Please fill out the form below to RSVP. You can also search the Nonprofit Resource directory below and see if your nonprofit is already listed. If it is, and you need to update your information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you aren't listed but would like to be, you can add your nonprofit now.

Avow was founded in 1983 as Collier County’s original nonprofit hospice. Avow provides comfort, care, understanding and dignity to those who are seriously ill and their caregivers, as well as those mourning a loved one’s passing.
In 2017, Avow partnered with the GSN WeCare Committee, to conduct an eight-week LGBT bereavement support program. The program provides participants with a safe, compassionate environment to share thoughts and feelings, receive support and embrace hope and healing.
This year, Avow received a $15,000 grant from the LGBTQ Fund through the Southwest Florida Community Foundation to expand their LGBTQ programs. In addition to offering support services, Avow is providing education and outreach to elder care facilities, care givers and others concerning issues facing the LGBT community in need of eldercare or senior housing
