Nonprofit Summit

The Rainbow Pages is sponsoring a nonprofit summit to discuss LGBTQ issues from 9 am to noon on January 7, at the Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson St, Fort Myers, FL 33901. The summit is being held in conjunction with the LGBT Community Fund, a fund of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.

This summit is open to all nonprofits who support equality and serve all individuals in our community. You do not have to have specific LGBT programs. We will provide an introduction and education into what resources are currently available for the LGBTQ community, issues facing the community and identify issues you address at your nonprofit agencies.

Please fill out the form below to RSVP. You can also search the Nonprofit Resource directory below and see if your nonprofit is already listed. If it is, and you need to update your information, please email info@rainbowpagesswfl.com. If you aren't listed but would like to be, you can add your nonprofit now.

This effort will reduce barriers and provide on site assessment, timely coordination and appropriate services. By providing individuals with an on-call behavioral health intervention, it can significantly reduce unnecessary Baker acts and provide appropriate and timely assessment, intervention and engagement. A highly trained and specialized mobile crisis unit will assist in managing crisis situations in an effective, holistic and humane manner.

LGBT Transitional Home

LGBTQ youth have the added layer of trauma that comes with being rejected or mistreated because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. This transitional housing program will empower the young men and women with the tools needed to live independently. The importance of having a secure environment to call home can't be overstated. The unique transitional housing model will encourage the growth of independent, positive and productive adult community members.
