Seeing & Believing in 2020 Summit set for May 20-22

The Florida Council Against Sexual Violence Seeing & Believing in 2020 Biennial Summit is still slated to take place in Kissimmee, FL on May 20-22. FCASV continues to monitor the status of any guidance offered by the Office of the Governor, the Florida Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control.

In the event that the conference has to be cancelled due to COVID-19, FCASV will refund registration fees. If the COVID-19 situation results in FCASV changing its conference plans, the Council is also exploring options to postpone the conference to a later date. If the Summit is planned for a later date, registered participants can choose to have their registration fees transferred to the new conference date or choose to have their fees refunded. We will continue to provide timely updates.

Early registration will now be extended until Friday, April 3rd. Late registration will run April 4th – May 1st. To register for our Seeing & Believing in 2020 Summit, please visit fcasv.org.

The conference features three keynote presentations; a film screening of The Rape of Recy Taylor; and more than 30 workshops covering a wide variety of topics from community outreach, to therapy modalities, to advocacy practices. We are also offering workshops in both English and Spanish!
