Project HELP is a state-certified Sexual Assault and Rape Recovery Crisis Center in Collier County. The agency also works with the Collier County Medical Examiner’s Office to quickly identify families and children that are affected by sudden death.
Project HELP, Inc. has been providing counseling and advocacy to individuals affected by sexual violence and sudden death since 1986.
Referral sources include the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Medical Examiner’s Office, State Attorney’s Office, Family Preservation, Department of Children and Families, Children’s Advocacy Center, Naples Police Department, Marco Police Department, Naples’ Hospitals, Florida Highway Patrol, the Shelter for Abused Women and Children, schools, hospitals, and the organization’s 24-hour Crisis & Referral Helpline. There is a victim advocate at the State Attorney’s Office as well.
The counseling services are multifaceted. Counselors work with clients on a mostly individual basis, but also provide family and couples’ counseling. Group counseling is also available.
