Adult Skills Support Group

About: My Autism Connection (MAC) strives to bring awareness of the needs for supports to young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by educating and training on acceptance and inclusion through our weekly training, social outings, and career experience tours. MAC seeks to ignite acceptance by embracing the concept that all minds are equal and worthy of belonging. Our members are empowered through member-driven activities and evidence-based curriculum to help drive our programs. We encourage members to engage in their community by contributing in their own unique ways with guidance on appropriateness.

Fort Myers Congregational Unites Church of Christ

About: Fort Myers United Church of Christ was formed in 1976 and has been worshiping in the current building since 1979. Though our sanctuary was considered “modern” at the time – no bell tower or cross on the roof and an octagonal style sanctuary – our service and liturgy are still quite traditional. We have pews, hymnals and a wonderful organ. Our thinking, however, is anything but traditional. We are a theologically progressive Christian community.
