Naples Botanical Gardens Artists in Bloom on View Starting July 2

Artists in Bloom, a truly collaborative community exhibition, commences July 2 at Naples Botanical Garden, and runs through Sept. 6.

The works of art in this exhibition allow guests to see the beauty and splendor of the Garden as seen through the eyes of more than two dozen of our community’s local artists. Guests can expect to see a wide array of works, ranging from photography and mixed media to charcoal and oil on canvas.

Organized in partnership with the United Arts Council of Collier County, Artists in Bloom takes an intimate peek into the relationship between the artist and the Garden as its muse, featuring an exciting selection of works that reflect the essence and spirit of Naples Botanical Garden. It serves as a reminder of how art and nature are intrinsically linked, and gently prompts the viewer to experience the Garden in a new way.

The exhibition exemplifies one of the ways in which the Garden and United Arts Council have served as cornerstones, not only in the arts and cultural arena, but as members of our local community.

The show’s guest juror is Lauren Amalia Redding, a local artist who operates H&R Studio with her husband, sculptor Brett F. Harvey.
